I am living and working in Melbourne (Naarm).
Arts administrator, writer, maker.

In images, I explore bodies, the gendered body, representation of self, figure, object, other. I am interested in the body as form, and exploring aspects of disembodiment and object-ness. In collating and collecting I look for the narratives expressed through data, and using data sets to understand and rearrange elements of the human condition. In writing and research I explore how history and contemporaneity can be re-examined through the lense of pop-culture and art theory, reimagining our contemporary context in absurd ways.

Professionally, I work in the arts as an administrator, manager, accountant, coordinator. The logistics of arts organisations and committees, the hidden magic of spreadsheets and calendars. This creativity-adjacent space has informed much of my personal artistic practice, both in the work I do surrounding arts labour and data collection, as well as the inward facing nature and insularity of self portraiture. Often living with imposter syndrome within a presentation-based professional artspace, taking comfort in the quiet familiarity of the lines and shadows, the topography of my own existence.
